If your sweaters never fit quite right, this is for you.

I'm building a custom fit system that adapts my knitting patterns to your body.

Knitting patterns that adapt to you.

Conventional patterns are created for you to knit exactly what the designer did. And unless you happen to match the mythical “standard” body shape that designers base their patterns on, you’re stuck guessing, experimenting, or doing a lot of complicated math to make them fit.

Some newer patterns use your measurements to adjust basic widths, but they still rely on generic shaping. So you might physically fit into the sweater, but it still won’t sit right.

I'm developing a system that tailors my patterns not just to your size, but to your shape. No more surprise math halfway through a project. Just sweaters that actually fit, every time.

Because the point isn’t for you to knit my sweater – it’s for you to knit yours.

How does it work?

At the moment, this system can:

  • Adjust front and back width independently (because your front and back “halves” are never really equal)

  • Blend between sizes from the upper bust to full bust, and shoulder to upper arm (which ensures you get both a good fit around the shoulders, AND a good fit around your arms and your chest)

  • Generate custom horizontal bust darts on some patterns (not all patterns are suitable for darts).

This is just the beginning - I have lots of plans to add more adjustment options in the future!
